Slimming clubs, the ‘get a beach body in 5 days’ diet or any other generic weight loss programme? just to find yourself back at square one feeling frustrated or even carrying more weight than you started with? This is because eating habits are based on your individual beliefs, values, culture and learnt behaviour. Food and drink are associated with celebrations, love, nurturing and comfort; is it any wonder then that so many of us have tried and lost confidence with programmes that don’t acknowledge our uniqueness as individuals. Coaching takes a different approach; the journey towards good nutrition, movement and weight loss puts you firmly in the driving seat. As your coach I will support you to consolidate all the ideas you have ever had about weight loss, consider what has worked and what has not worked, explore new ideas and the reasons why. I take an holistic approach and meet you where you are, right from the start I’ll be your number 1 supporter. During the coaching journey, with my guidance, you’ll set realistic goals and commit to achievable actions. Long term success cannot be achieved in a short amount of time, but it is important to have a period of focus time as you begin to learn and practice new behaviours; my 6 week course will provide just that. One hour per week, just you and me at a time that fits in with your schedule. During this time we’ll work together to breakthrough what’s been holding you back and co-create your individual success plan. After that I can offer maintenance coaching sessions completely flexible to suit your individual needs. So how does all of this work? The 6 week course includes: *1 hour per week call via Zoom, *daily text messages to keep you motivated and inspired, *access to a range of coaching tools designed to support long lasting behaviour change, *access to a private Facebook group for group support from others, *1 x 5 min weekly emergency call back (if required) for those days when you just need some extra support; *special offers to receive on-going maintenance coaching completely flexible to meet your individual needs.
